Deputy William Mast Jr.

Watauga County Deputy William Mast Jr. was KILD on 07/26/2012. He was survived by his young wife and unborn son. KOTBL organized a Benefit Concert in Boone and gave some of the proceeds to the Mast Family.  In addition we made the plaques seen to the left for the Mast Family.

Officer Brian Thomas

Injured in the Line of Duty 07/23/2012

 

Dobson PD Officer Brian Thomas was shot twice during a Domestic Incident. Some of the proceeds from the above mentioned Benefit Concert were given to the Thomas Family.

Bike to DC Memorial Ride

McManus participated in the first 28 miles of the first days ride.  It leaves from Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD Headquarters every year in May during Police Week. Go to bike2dc.com to check it out.

Elkin Color Run Benefit

Representatives of KOTBL attended this event and sold Knights Clothing and Accessories to raise money to support Deputy Steven Russell (pictured below) in his recovery. Deputy Russell was given a Knights shirt and decal as a small token of gratitude for his Sacrifice in Protecting the Wilkes County Community.

William Mast Jr. Memorial Bicycle Ride

This was an 8 mile Memorial Road Cycling Ride to Honor Deputy William Mast EOW: July 26, 2012. This ride started at the Watauga Co. Sheriff's Office, passed by Boone P.D. and ASU P.D. then ended at the Sheriff's Office. Mast's Family was in attendance for the ride.

Get Jason Healthy Ride

This Ride was a 17.5 mile ride to raise money for Officer Jason Eschert and started at the CMPD Law Enforcement Center in Charlotte, NC and ended at the Hickory Tavern in Indian Trail, NC. Officer Eschert's Family was awaiting our arrival in the parking lot of the Hickory Tavern.

     This was a Memorial Ride to Remember All those that Gave Their Lives in 2018

(163 LEOs) and to date 05/13/2019 (41 LEOs). These 204 Law Enforcement

Officers made the Ultimate Sacrifice to keep Their Communities Safe.

We Will Never Forget!

 

The ride left from Two Rivers Cinema Parking Lot on Saturday May 18th, 2019 at 9 am.

     The Ride will pass the four Law Enforcement Agency Offices in

Wilkes County, NC; North Wilkesboro PD, Wilkes County SO, Wilkesboro PD and NCSHP.

   

     After the ride, there was a Free showing, inside Two Rivers Cinema, for Participants and their Families of a Cycling Documentary Entitled "50 States 50 Days Freedom 50/50 World Record Tribute Ride Over 7,400 Miles Across All 50 States in 50 Days"
